Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk meets Will

Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk visited the base that our Airmen are at. By pure luck Will ended up being in the front row right in front of the PM. He was the first one to get to shake his hand! The PM didn't just shake his hand and move on. He stopped, asked where he was from, and chatted for a minute before moving on to the next guy. How cool is that!?

I even found a video of the speech. They cut off his meeting the PM, but still very cool. The speech is in Polish, but if you skip to about 2:34 you can see Will's appearance. He's in the very front with his back to the camera shaking hands.

Click here to see an article about the visit. It's in English so no worries about trying to translate.

When Will said the Prime Minister was visiting, I half-seriously told him to make sure he shook his hand. Obviously that's not something that everyone gets the opportunity to do. But sure enough, Will got that chance!

  7. That's so cool! Are you going to try and visit while you're stationed overseas? The guys like it there. Will and I have been planning to go to Warsaw during our big summer roadtrip.
